St. Mary Academy - Bay View is proud to educate and empower girls and young women with 3 amazing new summer camps in the fields of STEM, athletics, and performing arts. Relax, enjoy and discover new interests while gaining confidence and making new friends at Bay View on our 15-acre campus this summer!

The Inspiration Academy: Musical Theater Camp

Date: June 22nd-29th, 2019, 10 AM - 3 PM

For: Students entering Grades 4-9

Description: This summer, join us for the experience of a lifetime! This 7-day performing arts workshop will engage students in many facets of musical theater. Enhance your creativity through acting and improvisation, dance workshops, scene study, character creation, and singing as an ensemble. Be INSPIRED this summer at Bay View! Inspiration Academy will culminate in showcase performances on Saturday, June 29th at 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM, followed by a cast party.

Location: Indoors, Mercy Hall Auditorium.

Cost: $200 for registrations received before 4/1, $250 for all registrations 4/1 and after. 

*Please note there will be no camp on Sunday 6/23.




Bay View Basketball Academy

Dates: July 8th-12th, 2019, 8 AM - 5 PM

For: Elementary School: Ages 7-10
         Middle School: Ages 11-13
         High School: Ages 14-15  

Description: Looking for a camp where your daughter can learn the fundamentals of basketball and build a solid foundation for her future success? St. Mary Academy - Bay View Basketball Academy will focus on the skills and fundamentals needed to become a successful basketball player during Middle and High school.

Coach Wasson will enlist local high school coaches and student-athletes to assist her with instruction and coaching of campers. Head Athletic Trainer Josselyn Delemos will be on-site to ensure your daughter is cared for in case of an injury. She will also take the time to work with student-athletes on proper stretching and speak to them about nutrition.

Location: All camp activities will be conducted in the Athletic Wellness Center on the campus of St. Mary Academy - Bay View, located at 3070 Pawtucket Avenue, Riverside, RI. 

Cost: $325 general public. Bay View students $300. 
*Register by 5/1 and receive a $25 off discount! 

Early drop off (between 7-8 AM) - $10/per day
Early drop off (Bay View students) - fee waived

Forensic Science and Medical Mysteries

Date: July 15th-19th, 2019, 9 AM - 3 PM

For: Students going into 7th, 8th & 9th grade

Description: Camp activities will focus on using molecular biology experiments to gain an understanding of DNA and to gain exposure to DNA analysis techniques commonly used to solve crimes and diagnose disease. Additionally, the Anatomage virtual dissection table will be used by campers to learn about the structure and function of human organs and systems. Campers will be presented with medical cases of a number of fictitious patients and asked to work in small groups to research the symptoms of each patient. Each team will be given the task to determine the diagnosis of each patient. The students will be given a number of "useful" resources, including images from the Anatomage Table, to guide their inquiry.

Location: Indoors, Bay View STEM Lab, located inside of Mercy Hall.

Cost: $250
