Lower School Expectations

Teacher Expectations

  • Provide a morning meeting, prayer and take attendance.
  • Provide a schedule for the week’s learning activities each Monday.
  • Post daily assignments on Google Classroom.
  • Available for student support each school day from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Give timely and informative feedback on student work.
  • Enrichment teachers contribute learning activities on scheduled days.
  • Respond to student and parent emails within 24 hours. 
  • Practice as much flexibility as is reasonable to accommodate student and family needs.

Parent Expectations

  • Check daily email from homeroom teacher to stay abreast of class assignments.
  • Communicate with your daughter’s teacher when you have questions.
  • Call or email Kim Thompson if your daughter will not participate in school.
  • Find a consistent, quiet space for your daughter to get work done.
  • Please assist your daughter in practicing healthy habits: shower, exercise, eat, sleep, etc.
