The main focus of all the content in this section will be celebrating the students on their feats and successes.

The Girl Power Roundup:  Olivia Martin is the student editor of this section, and she is so excited to share various posts with you during the 2021-2022 school year that celebrate female accomplishments! Arts: Caitlin Brown is thrilled to be the student editor of The Blue and Gold’s Arts section. This section will encompass everything from our flourishing art departments. The Blue and Gold’s arts team is ecstatic to share the scoop about the latest theatrical productions, orchestral concerts, and gallery nights, but in addition they will go beyond that to show off the hard work Bay View artists put into their craft and ultimately let all their talents shine through.

Op-Ed: Maya Joncas is the editor for the Op-Ed Section. This section will focus on current events and student opinions regarding these events. It is important to have a space for students to voice their opinions about what is happening in the world. Being a school in the tradition of the Sisters of Mercy, The Blue and Gold also finds it imperative to tie topics back to Mercy values, such as racism and the environment. Maya is excited to share what students think about the events happening in the world and provide a global perspective.
