Clubs at Bay View are back in full swing! Meetings are being held in person once again. After a year of meeting fully virtually, clubs are back to meeting in the mornings and afternoons and are starting to plan in-person activities.
The Student Council recently organized Spirit week, which included a movie night and the annual Newcomers Welcome. Students enjoyed popcorn while watching Mean Girls in the Wellness Center, dress-up days, games and activities on the lawn, and student council skits throughout the week! The seniors were able to decorate the school with pink decorations for their class color and come to school early on Newcomer’s Welcome to enjoy the sunrise.
The Peer Ministry recently assisted in planning the Mercy Day liturgy. This liturgy was the first time the whole school got together in a whole year. Students enjoyed having a small school-wide mass, discussions about the school-wide summer reading book Stamped, as well as games and activities with the Lower, Middle, and Upper School students!
Many other clubs are also planning events. The Culture Share Club hopes to have their first in-person movie night this week, and the Mock Trial team will be reconvening after they couldn't last year.
If you have an interest and want to get involved, there is definitely a club for you! Make sure to check your emails for information about how you can join the fun that our variety of different clubs has to offer.
