St. Mary Academy - Bay View is proud to announce two of our student-athletes have earned Providence Journal All-State honors this fall. They are senior Sarah Curran (left), 1st Team All-State Tennis, and junior Isabella Kopech (right), 2nd Team All-State Soccer.

Curran, a senior, finished her high school tennis career as a three-time 1st Team All-State selection. This fall, she qualified for the singles state tournament and advanced to the round of 16. She is an honor roll student and member of the National Honor Society, Rho Kappa Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society, and Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica at Bay View.

Kopech, a junior, returned this season after an injury sidelined her last year and played a critical roll on defense helping lead the Bengals to the RIIL Division I Soccer Tournament Quarterfinals. During the winter and spring, she competes as a sprinter for the Bengals Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field Teams.
