What is Trunk or Treating?

During trunk or treat events adults decorate the back of their cars for Halloween, load up on candy, and sit in a parking lot for kids to "trick or treat" from car-to-car. Kids come fully dressed in Halloween costumes and holding out bags for treats. The adults get to socialize and be creative while seeing all the cute and scary costumes. Volunteers are needed to decorate their cars & pass out candy. Cars are given specific spots to line up around the parking lot.

Trunk Decorating

Volunteers can decorate their cars according to a theme and can wear a costume if they wish. Some options include a Halloween theme to fill your trunk with mummies or pumpkins. Other popular choices include decorating with children’s TV or movie characters or setting a scene, like the old west or a campsite.
