As part of our 50th reunion celebration, the class of 1971 established an endowed scholarship at St. Mary’s Academy-Bay View.

Due to the generosity of many classmates, family members and friends, the Class of 1971 Endowed Scholarship reached its $25,000 goal in June 2021, 50 years after our graduation ~ creating a meaningful legacy for our class and, more importantly, providing ongoing financial assistance for deserving students based on diverse ethnicity and need. The endowment will mature four years after reaching its goal, meaning that scholarship awards will begin in the 2025-26 school year.

The endowment is open-ended, meaning that current and future gifts to Bay View, that are so designated to the Class of 1971 endowed scholarship, will allow additional scholarship aid. Matching gifts from employers may also be added.  The more our endowment grows, the more financial aid will be given to girls who may not otherwise have the opportunity that we all had for a Bay View education.

Thank you for your generosity.
