

Each year, St. Mary Academy - Bay View honors an outstanding alumna who has brought honor to herself and her alma mater through outstanding accomplishments in her professional and personal life.
In 2026 we are adding an Emerging Leader of the Year award to honor a younger alumna who also reflects Bay View's Mercy Values in her academic, professional, and personal life.

Our Outstanding Alumna of the Year honoree is selected based on their representation of Bay View's Profile of the Graduate in all of their endeavors, including being Compelled by Mercy, displaying Educational Courage and Principled Leadership, being Inspired by Faith, and being a consistent Voice for Dignity and Respect for all people. Our committee will also consider the ways the nominated alumnae have given back to Bay View through gifts of time, talent, and/or treasure.
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for an the Outstanding Alumna of the Year Award, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a graduate of St. Mary Academy - Bay View
- Alumna cannot currently be an employee of the Academy or voting member of the Board of Trustees
- Must be living and physically able to participate in person at the award ceremony
- Cannot have previously received this award
- Must have graduated more than 10 years ago
