Spend a day in school with a current student!
Visit Days are required for students applying to Grades 2 through 8 and encouraged for students applying to Upper School.
Your Day at The Bay is a chance for you to be hosted on campus by a current student and see what an actual day at Bay View is like. You will start with check in and a welcome presentation, and then you are off to classes and other activities with your partnered Bay View student to see first-hand all that Bay View has to offer. Days at The Bay are open to students from kindergarten through grade 11.
Open House

The Open House is an event where prospective parents and students can tour our 15-acre campus, get acquainted with current students and their families, teachers, and administrators while discovering the all-girl difference at Bay View! During the event, you will be able to learn about the many clubs and sports Bay View offers, as well as get involved in varying hands-on learning activities.
Information Night
November 18, 2026 | 7:00 p.m.
An Information Night is a smaller, more intimate event where prospective parents and students can dive deeper into discovering more about Bay View. Learn about our academic programs and curriculum, enjoy informative panel discussions, hear about our financial aid and scholarship offerings, and stick around for an informative question-and-answer session with key members of our faculty and administration.
What is an Anatomage Exploration Night?
Packed inside the software of the state-of-the-art Anatomage Virtual Dissection Table are life-size, high-resolution three-dimensional images of four human cadavers. The careful preparation and sectioning of each cadaver allow for the table user to study human anatomy in a way that is not possible via traditional cadaver dissection. Through the Anatomage, you can take a journey through the four chambers of the human heart or peel away the superficial layers of the body layer-by-layer to gain a unique perspective of the spatial orientation of internal body structures. Following a short demonstration by Bay View faculty member Dr. Janell Johnson, participants will be invited to explore the cadavers embedded in the table software independently or through a guided dissection activity. With this instrument, the learning possibilities are truly endless!
Murder Mystery Night
Girls from grades 7 and 8 are invited to attend a murder mystery dinner night at St. Mary Academy – Bay View on November 23, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Enjoy a pizza dinner, where you will get to know the other guests—including Bay View students and faculty dressed in character for the evening’s events. Guided by a conversation with the actors during dinner, you will learn that a member of the dinner party is missing, eventually leading you to the discovery of a body. It will be up to you and the other guests to investigate and find the perpetrator of the deadly crime.
You will work in groups to interview the actors and collect clues, as you delve into their pasts and explore their relationships with the victim. Each group will then analyze DNA samples from their top three suspects. You will perform DNA fingerprinting, using a molecular biology technique called restriction enzyme digestion and gel electrophoresis to compare the suspect DNA samples with DNA samples collected from the crime scene and determine who committed this heinous act. Can you solve the mystery?
