Summer at Bay View offers a vibrant, welcoming summer experience designed to engage, inspire, and support girls across a wide range of ages and interests. Rooted in the school’s Mercy values, the camp emphasizes creativity, confidence-building, and meaningful connection in a safe and nurturing environment.

Our camp programs are thoughtfully designed to meet the unique needs and interests of each age group.
Middle School (MS) offerings are open to students entering Grades 6 through 8 and focus on exploration, skill-building, and connection during these formative years.
Upper School (US) programs are designed for students entering Grades 9 through 12, providing more advanced, interest-driven experiences that encourage independence, leadership, and deeper engagement in specialized areas.

Camps are running from Monday, July 6, to Friday, July 31!
1-Week, Full-Day Session (9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) - $275/week

Programs with fewer than 5 participants enrolled may be canceled or rescheduled.

Cells & Clues: Science Lab Institute (Full-Day)

These one-week Summer camps invite middle and upper school students into hands-on exploration of anatomy and forensics through engaging labs and real-world applications. From studying the human body’s systems to solving mock crimes with techniques like fingerprinting and toxicology, students build critical thinking, problem-solving, and laboratory skills in an interactive, curiosity-driven environment.

Course Sessions

Anatomy - Middle School [July 6-10]

During this engaging one-week camp, students will explore the 11 major systems of the human body through a combination of interactive mini-lessons and hands-on laboratory activities. Campers will investigate topics such as DNA structure through a Double Helix Candy Lab, blood typing, homeostasis and the effects of exercise, brain anatomy, and more.

Designed to spark curiosity about biology, health, and how the human body works, this camp encourages students to think critically, ask questions, and learn through discovery. Students will leave with a stronger understanding of the human body and a foundation of knowledge they can build on for years to come.

Anatomy - Upper School [July 13-17]

During this immersive one-week camp, students will explore the 11 major systems of the human body through a blend of engaging mini-lessons and hands-on laboratory experiences. After a brief introduction to each topic, campers will participate in interactive activities such as growing bacteria on petri dishes to study the immune system, learning the basics of athletic taping, exploring exercise and homeostasis, mapping the brain, and more.

Whether students are interested in medicine, sports science, or simply curious about how the body works, this camp offers an exciting opportunity to investigate the science of anatomy and human health. Campers will build curiosity, critical thinking skills, and a deeper appreciation for the complexity and beauty of the human body.

Forensics - Middle School [July 20-24]

During this exciting one-week Forensics Camp, middle school students will step into the role of crime scene investigators as they explore the science behind solving mysteries. Through a variety of interactive, hands-on labs, campers will investigate evidence using techniques such as blood typing, fingerprint analysis, pickle autopsies, and more.

Designed to spark curiosity and creativity, this camp encourages critical thinking, teamwork, observation, and problem-solving skills while highlighting the real-world applications of science. Inspired by the investigative techniques seen in popular crime shows, students will gain an engaging introduction to forensic science in a fun, collaborative learning environment.

Forensics - Upper School [July 27-31]

During this immersive one-week Forensics Camp, high school students will explore the many scientific disciplines involved in solving crimes and analyzing evidence. Through engaging, hands-on labs and simulations, campers will investigate topics such as fingerprint analysis, toxicology, trace evidence examination, mock crime scenes, and an introduction to the legal system.

This camp is designed to strengthen laboratory skills, critical thinking, observation, and problem-solving while demonstrating how forensic science has evolved and influenced the modern criminal justice system. Students will gain a deeper understanding of the real-world applications of biology, chemistry, and investigative science in a dynamic and engaging environment.

Schedule Changes & Cancellation Policy

Registered participant schedules may be changed or cancelled from the time of registration up to June 15, 2026.
If you need to reschedule, please reach out to kbarbosa@bayviewacademy.org by June 22, 2026.
If a participant’s schedule is cancelled prior to June 22, 2026 and payment has been submitted, please email us at kbarbosa@bayviewacademy.org to receive a refund. This email should be received prior to June 22, 2026.
After July 1, 2026, any cancellation or absence of any summer program will still be charged for the full billable amount.
Refunds will not be provided after July 1, 2026
