Middle School Students Earn Top Awards at RI National History Day Competition

Congratulations to all of our Middle School students who recently competed in the Rhode Island National History Day competition!

National History Day is an inter-disciplinary research project which teaches and students how to conduct in-depth research, use primary and secondary sources, analyze information and prepare a clear and concise presentation of their research.

Over six months of research went into our students' projects, and we are proud to announce five of our girls are heading to Nationals at the University of Maryland, College Park, next month - the most we have ever sent in one year!

Caroline Moonan and Meagan Kiely - "Salem Witch Trials - Which Witch is Which?" 2nd place in group exhibits

Olivia Coelho - "Slave Trade - Selling Souls for Sugar" - 3rd place in individual exhibits
