On Saturday, May 19th, 2018, eleven students from Bay View earned awards at the Rhode Island Music Education Association (RIMEA) Solo and Ensemble Festival. The event was held at Rhode Island College and students from around the state performed in front of professional musicians where they received a score based on criteria that are required for excellence in musical performance.
