On your mark, get set, go!

This week our 6th-graders are hard at work building wind-powered cars for a STEM project that combines their science, math and technology classes. The girls will build, test and measure their cars' distance and speed, review the results and make improvements to increase their cars' ability to move on the test track. All data collected during science class will be used in a math statistics unit and also in technology classes.
