Bengal Backers
The purpose of the Bengal Backers is to encourage strong physical education and interscholastic athletic programs at St. Mary Academy-Bay View with the goal of encouraging students to participate in athletics and to create a sense of pride through competition and achievement, recognizing that this activity developes keen minds, strong bodies, healthy bodies, character and sportsmanship. This organization supports specific working programs as administered by the President of the school and her delegates, serves as a source of fellowship and raises and provides appropriate funding for athletic programs.
