Faculty & Staff
MIDDLE SCHOOL FACULTY
As middle school faculty members of Bay View, we are experienced specialists in the development of girls ages ten to fourteen. We deliver an integrated curriculum that supports the learning style of adolescent girls, and use instructional techniques that girls embrace. We meet weekly to coordinate the interdisciplinary curriculum and to support student learning. Sixty percent of us hold Masters Degrees, one has a law degree, and several are currently enrolled in MA degree programs. We are members of numerous professional organizations such as the New England League of Middle Schools, Rhode Island Middle Level Educators, the Association for Curriculum and Development, as well as the professional organization for teachers of mathematics, science, foreign language, history and English. We keep current in our fields by attending professional development workshops and, as we are a one-to-one computing middle school, all of us are experienced in using technology to enhance and support instruction.
