A Bay View student's relationship with the Academy doesn't end after graduation.
As alumnae we have been gifted with the benefits of a Bay View education. We all share in a sisterhood of women and in rich Bay View traditions that have been faithfully passed down from generation to generation since 1874. Alumnae continue the best of these traditions in both their professional and personal lives: traditions of educational excellence, of commitment to service in the community, and of an undying belief in the unique and critical contribution of women in society.
Currently, there are over 6,500 active alumnae living throughout the United States and worldwide; working in just about every field.

If you're interested in being actively involved and live in the Rhode Island area, we welcome you to join the Alumnae Adivsory Council or serve on an event committee.
The Advisory Council, which has been in existence for six years, is comprised of 25 alumnae spanning four generations. The group meets for two hours every other month and helps support the Alumnae Office by offering feedback and planning of events geared towards keeping you connected. Past events planned by the Advisory Council include:
- Bay View Women's Day of Reflection
- Women in Leadership Luncheon/Breakfast
- Alumnae Mass and Brunch
- Blu Martini Bar at Manhattan at the Bay
- Mass for Peace
- Community Service projects including "Clothing for a Cause" and "Feed a Family," the alumnae Food Drive.
Just because you may live far from the Rhode Island area doesn't mean you can't be involved! There are large groups of alumnae living in most of the major cities so consider hosting an alumnae reception.
