A letter from the Director of Admissions, Jan Cooney
Welcome and thank you for your interest in St. Mary Academy - Bay View, an all-girls, independent, Catholic school for students in Pre-K through Grade 12.
At Bay View Academy, girls and young women are encouraged and inspired to exceed their expectations, whether it’s in the classroom, the science lab or the art studio, on the field, or for the young girls, on the playground. Our goal is to develop compassionate leaders with the conscience and confidence to excel in whatever they do, while making our communities better places to live, work and thrive.
Your interest in our Academy indicates that you cherish the same values we have instilled in our students since 1874: educational excellence, commitment to service and a belief in the unique and critical contribution of women in society.
“I am Bay View. Are you?” It’s a refrain you’ll see a lot as you navigate through www.bayviewacademy.org, but the best way to find out the answer is to come for a visit! Whether it’s an Open House, a private tour, or a “Day at the Bay” spent shadowing one of our students, we invite you to see for yourself what it means to be Bay View.
Bay View has a rolling admissions policy, which means we accept applications for all grade levels at any time. I invite you to explore our website and also call, visit and ask questions. I look forward to meeting you in this process!
